In the late 1800’s Pearce, Arizona became a booming gold town. The Common-Wealth Mine was one of the richest in the state and was known far and wide attracting people from all over the United States. A school, a post office, a jail, and so much more was built to maintain the growing population although it didn’t last long. Around the time the Great Depression hit the mine also dried up and most people moved on. The area now has about 2,000 full time residents and is a beautiful place to see and explore and this is your chance to set out on an adventure of your own.
