This beautiful town is right off the historic Route 66 and internationally known. The Disney movie cars took all the inspiration from Seligman from the looks of it to the story. Radiator Springs in the movie is very similar, looks wise, to Seligman and the story line of a little town fighting to survive after being by-passed by the interstate is just like Seligman. It was once a successful railway town encampment that lost a lot of its tourism when highway 40 was built next to it allowing people to travel around the town instead of through it.
