This 80 acre property lies on the East side of the Pilot Valley above Bar O Ranch.
The property is adjacent to over 1,200 acres of BLM on the North and East sides - See the last page for an image of the lot in relation to the BLM.
The property is covered with Juniper and Pine Trees. There is also some sagebrush and prairie grass. Antelope, Elk, Deer and Rabbits are in the area. A little further south on Pilot Road, wild horses have been spotted.
The easiest way to get to the property is to head east from Pilot Road on 9thStreet, then take K Street South. You will arrive at a wood cabin style house and barn and if you skirt the property there is a road that leads to the East that is not listed on navigation. This road is quite rocky and requires a 4wd vehicle.
From the google view you can see what looks like a road that goes straight to the property. There is a clearing that leads from a spring in the far east foothills with a small pipeline which is now defunct but looks like it once carried water to the Wood Cabin property to the West. Our photographer talked to a local while returning from this property and he mentioned that power to the subdivision below this property is supplied by Raft River Power. He drilled a well for his property and they had to drill 120 feet to hit water.
He asked him about the spring to the east and he said he hadn’t been up there for a while and didn’t know if there was still water running from the spring. The Spring is not on the property.
